This programme is designed to guide people working with young children in developing the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to recognise and respond appropriately to suspected child abuse and in particular childhood sexual abuse. The programme deals with aspects of the Vulnerable Children Act (2014) as well as understanding and managing childhood sexual behaviours. It gives practical guidance on working with families and children around safety and body awareness.
